Mumbai, April 15, 2025 — The IndianOil Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) Season 6 Auction brought the heat as franchises splurged big on international stars and rising Indian talent. Chinese ace Fan Siqi emerged as the auction’s biggest headline, commanding a whopping 19.7 Lakh tokens from Chennai Lions, while Diya Chitale became the top Indian buy, retained by Dabang Delhi TTC for 14.1 Lakh tokens through a high-stakes Right to Match (RTM) play.
Former champions Goa Challengers secured captain Harmeet Desai for 14 Lakh tokens, and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran made history by returning to Delhi for the sixth straight season.
Debutants Kolkata ThunderBlades went all in on Puerto Rican star Adriana Diaz (19.3L), pairing her with veteran Quadri Aruna, while PBG Pune Jaguars locked down Spanish sensation Alvaro Robles (18.1L).
The auction marked a new era for UTT, introducing player bidding for the first time and reflecting a strategic balance between proven international talent and India’s next generation of stars. With squads now locked in, the battle lines are drawn for a thrilling Season 6, set to unfold from May 29 to June 15 at EKA Arena, Ahmedabad.
